The Hollywog 2" square electrodes have replaced the Dura-Stick Plus and Dura-Stick II electrodes.

2" square self-adhesive electrodes for use with Muscle Stimulators, Clinical Electrotherapy and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (T.E.N.S.).

This is a reusable foam back electrode with standard pre-wired molded connectors.  Made with a high quality carbon conductor layer to evenly distribute the current.

Surface area per electrode is 5.0cm square

Why should you care about electrode quality?  The electrode is the pathway through which the electrical stimulation of the TENS enters the target tissue. Electrodes are the components that come in contact with your skin.  Skin tissue has high impedance (resistance), so it is critical to have good electrode contact. Good quality current dispersion and low electrode impedance allow the electrical current to pass thru the skin more efficiently.  Poor quality in TENS units and/or electrodes can result in discomfort associated with TENS.

Yes, electrodes are inexpensive and disposable, thus often considered an afterthought.  But you should expect the highest quality for yourself and/or your patients.  That is why you need Hollywog electrodes.  The best quality available at the price you expect.
